An attractive smile is a wonderful asset. It contributes to self-esteem, self-confidence, and self-image - important qualities at any age. People with beautiful smiles have a lot to be happy about. I love that orthodontics is all about smiles, happiness, and being confident in life. The most rewarding part of my job is to help this happen. These journeys with my patients are the most gratifying part of my work and why I love it so much!
I have over 25 years of experience specializing in orthodontics for children, adolescents, and adults. I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology with minors in Math, Chemistry, and Physics. I continued my education at the University of Illinois Dental School and earned another Bachelor of Science Degree in Dentistry and a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree with honors. I graduated Valedictorian of my dental class.
I then attended the prestigious orthodontic program at the University of Illinois, receiving my Master of Science and a Certificate in Orthodontics. I am board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics achieving lifetime certification. Currently, I am completing the Mastering the Business of Orthodontics program at the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania.
I am a member of many professional organizations including the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontics, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, American Board of Orthodontics, and the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics.
My free time is spent with my wife, Kim, our four children, and my best friend Teddie, our Golden Retriever.
